Black Forest
Located within the Bohol Triangle, the Black Forest dive site boasts an array of captivating features. Beginning with a descent against the current, divers navigate through coral heads in the shallows before encountering a mesmerizing forest of black coral at depths of 35-45 meters.
As the dive progresses, the current typically shifts, allowing for a thrilling drift dive experience. Marine life abounds in this underwater wonderland, resembling an aquarium with vibrant Anthias, Rockcods, Groupers, Scorpionfish, Squirrelfish, Parrotfish, Wrasse, Damsel Fish, and Anemonefish. However, caution is advised during the months of May, June, and July, as triggerfish can display aggressive behavior. For an optimal dive experience, begin the journey with the slope on the right shoulder, heading southward.
