DIVERS HEAVEN

RICO'S WALL

District:

Rudy's Rock

Rudy's Rock, situated on the south/west side of Balicasag Island, features a deep drop-off wall, with a notable land orientation marked by a prominent rock with a stick visible from the beach during low tide. Underwater, divers can explore a rich marine habitat, including soft and hard corals, along with small caverns and crevices. A highlight of the marine life is the presence of a school of "Jacks," Big Eye trevally, swirling in circular formations like a tornado, while Midnight Snappers can be seen swimming among sweetlip fishes. The recommended dive direction suggests starting the dive with the wall on the left shoulder, heading towards the exit point from the Black Forest, or alternatively, with the wall on the right shoulder, heading towards the resort Rico’s Wall.
